The romantic era started in the late 18th century to the 19th century in Western Europe . In 1832 the population of Britain is 13.9 million, and the population of the US. is million. June 18, 1812 the US declared war on Great Britain for the American rights. 1 Jan. 1828, Noah Webster published the 1st dictionary for English language. The romantic era is known for intense political & cultural upheavals. It was the beginning of the French Revolution. The romantic era moved from strict laws and advanced to artistic freedom, experimentation, and creativity
