SARA 3000 Battery-powered Sit-to-Stand Device 440 lbs. weight limit
Used for moderate to maximal assist patients for standing Provides transfers to the toilet, bedside commode, chair, & bed Slings made from non-slip material – (M) (L) (XL) Active kneepad with individual leg support

SIMPLE STEPS Assess patient’s mobility Position patient
Apply Slings, use appropriate size Apply brakes Attach sling’s clips to the equipment Attach safety straps around knee pad Ask patient to hold on to black outer bars Hoist patient up and transfer to desired location

When To Use Sara 3000 Minimal to Moderate Assist Patients
Have to assist with at least one arm Able to bear weight at least with one leg Able to follow instructions

IN CASE OF EMERGENCY… If battery runs out while patient is being lifted, there’s emergency pull to lower patient.

FRIENDLY REMINDERS: To avoid Sling from sliding, black part can be touching patient’s skin, and front buckles are snugged. Ask patient to look up and lean back into sling Do not have patient lean forward and pull up

More Friendly Reminders
Check buckles on straps Do not use on patients who are unable to bear weight Ensure correct sling size for patient Tighten straps after patients has been lifted up Sara 3000 slings are laundered Call Atlas Lift Coach for training and/or assistance ext ; 0700 – days/week
