2-or other plant parts in a sterile environment on a nutrient medium

4. 3-non-gene biotechnology to regenerate complete plantlet from isolated cells, or tissues or organ in an artificially prepared nutrient medium in the laboratory in aseptic condition.

1-nutrient medium
2-aseptic condition
3-aeration

1-"culture medium" or "Basal medium" or "growth medium"
2-depends on their nutrient medium composition
3-supplies energy and essential metabolites to growing tissues within it
4-state of culture medium solid = "Callus culture" or liquid = "Suspension culture"

7. Ingredients of nutrient medium
1-carbon source (e.g. sucrose, glucose, starch which supplies energy)
2-inorganic salts (major and minor elements),
3-vitamins,
4-hormones (auxin, cytokinin sometime GA).
