The ComArtSci Technology Office is devoted to providing the best experience possible for all faculty and staff. To that end... Our Office has handled 1335 incident tickets in the last year This does NOT include phone calls, s, walk-ins, or special projects An average of 111 per month On average incident tickets are completed within 1.5 business days of being submitted

Spartan OneDrive All faculty and staff have 5TB of space
Spartan OneDrive is both HIPPA and FERPA compliant (Google Drive is not) Spartan OneDrive is available for everyone right now

Spartan 365 Demo You can login to your Spartan 365 account at spartan365.msu.edu.

Fall changes to watch for
Workstations will be switched to CampusAD for authentication One login for everything Allows for the rollout of new services

New Client Services Newly deployed macs will have access to a self service portal One button installs of common applications MacOS updates without CAS IT login Improvements to security and stability Actively investigating similar service options for windows users

Spring 2018 improvements We are working on expanding our service catalog to help researchers with their technology needs Virtual machines Both on premise and through Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure Colocation services Both in MSU's New Datacenter and ComArtSci Data storage New network share options
