Converse, play, reference is a delivery method that takes into consideration the need to engage the audience, continue the interest with the activity and only at the conclusion of the exercise, reference the activity logistics (guide location, grade appropriate levels, etc.). This smooth transition allows the participant to be immersed in the experience rather than feel they are being trained.
