Introduction Today we will be looking at how certain factors influence the way in which ICT is used in a particular situation. In some cases a proposed system may encounter problems because there are legal or moral issues.

Get into 6 groups. We will be spent 5 minutes coming up with ideas of what we mean by each factor.

Social Social Networking Reduces the number of manual jobs
Changes in the way a job is done. Job Loss. Widens the gap between the “haves” and “have-nots”. De-skills certain jobs. Blurs the distinction between “home” and work”. Less security at work. Reduced social interaction at work. ICT systems are less personal. Changes in leisure time. Addictions Social Networking
