2 Class Descriptions Fit-Kids Club
Total Wellness-San Marcos group training classes are taught in a non-intimidating environment by highly skilled and enthusiastic instructors, who are committed to providing you with a safe and effective workout. Our instructors will provide you with proper guidance so that coordination and experience are not necessary and will demonstrate modifications so that you will be able to set your own intensity. AOA (Active Older Adults) FitMix provides a complete workout in a fun and social environment. Improve your overall functional fitness with our innovative exercises that target range of motion, coordination, balance, and cardiovascular and muscular fitness. Aqua Pump combines the intensity of interval training with the power of water. This workout varies intensity, speed, and range of motion to enhance muscular fitness, and aerobic endurance without placing added stress on the joints. Cyclone: The perfect workout for participants of all fitness levels. Ride with others, but set your own intensity. The best of all: no experience or coordination is necessary! Cyclone ‘n Tone: We’ve integrated the best of Cyclone and resistance training to push your body to its limits. This class combines 25 minutes of heart pumping cycling with 20 minutes of innovative muscular strength and endurance training. H2O+ is a non-impact workout designed to improve range of motion, cardiovascular and muscular fitness and assist in maintaining and improving your functional fitness. Kick-Box-Tone is an easy-to-follow, but challenging workout that combines intense anaerobic drills and over-all body conditioning exercises to burn a ton of calories and sculpt your body. R.I.P.P.E.D.® is a high energy workout that masterfully combines an easy, yet effective cardiovascular routine interlaced with weights and resistance. It’s fun and created for all fitness levels. Step ‘n Sculpt improves cardiovascular health and muscular fitness through step aerobics and a variety of resistance training equipment (dumbbells, stability balls, weighted bars, etc.). Total X-FIT is a challenging, high-intensity, interval-style workout that tones and sculpts your body. It includes a variety of exercises that target power, strength, muscular endurance, balance and flexibility. Yoga provides a perfect blend of Yoga and athletic movements to soothe your soul while creating a strong, toned, flexible, and relaxed mind and body. Zumba® fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a dynamic fitness program that will blow you away! Zumba® Kids If you're looking for something fun, healthy and age-appropriate to do with your whole family, join us for the ultimate dance-fitness party for the whole family! Offered the last Friday of each month.  Zumba® Step provides a variety of dance and fitness combinations delivered in a fun and innovative way that brings a new perspective to step class and challenge to participants. Zumba® Toning teaches you how to blend body-sculpting techniques and specific Zumba® moves into one calorie-burning, strength-training class using Zumba® toning sticks or dumbbells to enhance rhythm, build strength and tone the target zones. Fit-Kids Club Our Fit-Kids Club (FKC) promotes physical activity in a safe supervised setting. Our Associates engage children ages 1 to 12 years in safe, fun, and age-appropriate and physical activity program. During the school year, FKC Associates will also assist children with their homework. All of our FKC Associates have passed a criminal background check, are certified in CPR and First Aid, and have experience in working with small children. Degree of Intensity Degree of choreography
