4 Agenda Summer Workouts
Required, as much as possible for all players Workouts will be hard – Weights, speed/agility, then offense and defense Attendance will be taken each session Dougherty Valley contact camp Need complete form package – Physical Cost $50 per player HS web site is truth, where to go for schedule and details Squad Competition May competition – B won Scores for squads and individuals are posted Still need players who played a spring sport June GPA – Based on report card If I don’t see it I can’t record it. The single largest scoring item Practice attendance July Be sure to work with your squad. Warm-up is time for meeting with players. Can setup drills when team is jogging

Everyone provides names No time so when names come in they will be sent back out Varsity Cards Yard Sale Dinner Out Roster Includes expected Freshmen I expect a good amount of change To build a forest the deadwood must be cut out Personal Schedule Philmont is out – Knee failed physical But, Miami is now possible – June 30-July 6

6 Workouts will be hard How it’s going to work Schedule for week 1
5:30-7:30 MT-TH-F Warm up, session 1, session 2, then team Session 1&2 are 35 minutes Team - 30 minutes or so Use radios for coordination At least 2 coaches in weight room Most excitable, energetic, motivational At least 2 coaches on the field Will use stations a couple of times each week. 3 coaches will be needed sometimes (Missouri “6 Second Workout”) Schedule for week 1 Weights Strength, mass 2 base weights per day 80-85% of max, push it hard Auxiliary weights once those are done No time for changing weights Field Speed, agility, quickness, endurance Sprint about 1,000 yards/session Ropes, jumps, core, agility, grass drills
