DO THEY STAY WITH THEIR BABY OR LEAVE THEM?
A tyrannosaurus Rex takes care of its young until they are able to hunt and live on their own. The mom spends most of the time with them. She feeds them meat.

How long will a T-REX live?
A T-REX could live to be about 35 years old. But nobody knows for sure. They lived 64 million years ago.

How does a T-REX walk? A T-REX walks on it’s toes like a cat. It walked bent over so it’s tail didn’t touch the ground. It ran as fast as a galloping horse today.

What does Tyrannosaurus Rex mean?
Tyrannosaurus Rex means Tyrant lizard king. Tyrano means tyrant. Saurus means lizard. And Rex means king.

How big is a T-REX? A T-REX was 18 to 20 feet. (5.5 to 6 m) tall.
The T-REX weighed 6 to 7 tons. (5.4 to 6.3 metric tons). It was very long more then 40 feet (12 m) from its mouth to its tail. Its head alone is 4 feet.

What was its skin like? The skin of a T-REX is probably tough and thick. It is like leather with small bumps on it. But scientists do not know for sure.

Fun Facts A T-REXS feet only has 3 toes on each foot.
T-REX uses its tail to balance and steer with it. T-REX lived in the late creagis. T-REX could eat up to 500 pounds of meat in one bite.
