Rosenburg Framework for addressing problems that emerge in intimate relationships to global political conflicts Focus on needs, feelings, and values VS. thinking/speaking in dehumanizing labels Needs are never in conflict.... strategies to meet needs often conflict

Organizational example Community Example Supervisor is balancing both the needs of their role (provide supervision/ respond to crises) and individual need for self-care Conflict exists over strategies they may be utilizing: inflexibility for drop in supervision, missing appointments Civil Rights movement – intention/ desire/need of Jewish community to support the movement and share strategies, conflict emerged Parallel to the Black Lives Matter movement
