Always wear safety glasses Take your time do it right (measure twice cut once) Keep a clean and neat work area Take care of all the tools (use properly, clean, put away) Always follow teacher’s instruction (never use tools without permission)

Do not use broken of damaged tools Cut away from your body Never toss or throw tools Use the right personal protective equipment Never carry a sharp pointed tool in your pocket Store tools properly when you are finished working Do not use excessive force or pressure on tools

Use good quality tools Inspect tools for defects Ensure handles of tools fit tightly into the head of the tool Wear safety glasses Keep work area clean and tidy Store tools properly when not in use
