2. 1986
Usain St. Leo Bolt was born.
On August 21.
In Trelawny, Jamaica.

3. 1998 Bolt attended Waldensia Primary School.
He was the school’s fastest runner.

4. 2001
Attended William Knibb Memorial High School.

5. 2002
At the age of 15, Bolt, competed in the World Junior Championships.
He won a gold and 2 silver medals.
Became the youngest to win a gold medal.

6. 2003 He competed in the World Youth Championships.
He won another gold medal.

7. 2004 Bolt ran the 200 meter in 19.93 seconds.
Became first junior to break 20 second-mark.

8. 2007 Participated in the Jamaican Championships.
Broke the record in the 200 meter.
At the World Championship in Osaka, he placed 2nd.

9. 2008 Broke the 100 meter world record.
Broke the 200 meter world record as well.

10. 2008 Competed in the Beijing Summer Olympics.
Broke his own world records.
