3. Mir Castle Complex
The construction of the complex began at the and of the 15th century, in the Gothic style. The building of the castle was completed by Duke llinich in the early 16th century near Mir village (formerly of Minsk region). Around 1568 the Mir Castle passed into the hands of Mikolaj Krzysztof “the Orphan” who finished building the castle in the Renaissance style. A three-storey palace was built along the eastern and northern walls of the castle. Plastered facades were decorated with limestone portals, plates, balconies and porches.

4. Brest Fortress
Originally it was the largest 19th century fortress of the Russian Empire, one of the western Russian fortresses. It is located at the confluence of the Mukhavets and Bug rivers with a total area of 4km2.

5. Mound of Glory
The Mound of Glory is a memorial complex honouring Soviet soldiers who fought during World War ll, located 21km from Minsk on the Moscow Highway. Designed by O.Stakhovich and sculpted by A.Bembel, it was established in 1969 on the 25th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus during Bagration Operation (1944).
