2. Questions for your reading:
What materials can a battery be made out of?
Why is it important for the materials to be arranged in alternating layers?
What does the electrolyte solution do?
Will more layers make a more or less powerful homemade battery?

3. Challenge:
Generate the most volts within a voltaic battery by using only 10 pennies, 10 nickels, one paper towel, tweezers, and 30mL of a vinegar/salt solution (brine). A multitester will be used to measure the volts.
