2. What’s New MyScouting has a new mobile App
Guide to Advancement 2017 published over the summer
2nd Class and 1st Class camping requirements changed
2nd Class = 3 outdoor activities (not campouts) – 2 w/tent (effectively reducing number of required campouts from 3 to 2)
1st Class = 6 outdoor activities (not campouts) – 3 w/tent (effectively reducing number of required campouts from 5 to 3)

3. What’s New (Con’t) Eagle Palms changed
First sets of palms to be presented with Eagle Scout rank for every set of 5 merit badges over and above Eagle Scout requirements.
