Improving Workflow is the most important feature that an EMR offers, and is essential to success in an implementation The Message Templates are a relatively recent and very powerful feature of Practice Partner They allow communication and documentation between the various parties taking care of the patient

Bringing in Recent Labs
One of the most powerful features of Message Templates is the .ILR insert code. If the Lab Table Review screen is open, and a message, note, or letter template that has the .ILR code in it is opened at the same time, the lab data will be inserted into the template. The following template is in production for the latest update of Clinical Tools
