4 ACTIONS: the MDG Global targets, adopted by the UN in 2000
Aiming to reduce global poverty by 50% by 2015 Significant, difficult but achievable goals and targets. Mixed progress so far, most on target in Asia, but Africa will reach the poverty target in 2147 at present rate of progress.

Using the website research the progress made towards the MDG goals in two countries of your choice Include the following: Fact box summary e.g. Total pop, GDP, Literacy rate etc Progress made towards each of the MDGs i.e. On track etc Reasons for challenges or achievements for each of the goals A summary comparison of what is happening in both countries.
