4 What has been done? Workshop sessions One on One meetings
By the Numbers: 50 people participated 80 hours spent by all involved 12 different organizations Hundreds of Sticky Notes ;)

5 What is the key result? CCK needs to hire a Kitchen Coordinator to:
Expand Meal Programming. Identify alternate uses for CCK within its mandate. Identify and apply for additional funding. Define light weight policies and procedures. Fraser Health Safety Training Etc.

6 How do we get there? First Phase – Establishment
Second Phase – Creating Opportunity Third Phase – Advocacy

7 First Phase - Establishment
Hire a full-time CCK Coordinator Define simple purpose/vision statement Expand Meal Programming Define ‘light weight’ policies for CCK tenants to adhere to. Rental Agreements Minimum Requirements, insurance, commitment Fraser Health Establish CCK as a resource hub for homelessness.

8 Second Phase – Creating Opportunity
Cafeteria / Diner Create volunteer/job opportunities. Increase CCK utilization for community events / awareness Santa Claus Parade, Blueberry Festival, Canada Day Celebrations. Meals on Wheels like program for Cloverdale Event Catering / Kitchen rental

9 Third Phase – Advocacy Counseling, Nursing, and Nutritional Services
Advocacy for: Social/Poverty Issues in the Cloverdale area Healthy Living (Physical, Mental, Social Financial) Sustainable (local) Farming Healthy Food Sourcing (organic, local, environment) Stewardship of Resources Sharing success of CCK on a City and Provincial level
