6. PI Software & CAA Data Production chain
Problems:
Compiler differences on different platforms, in particular between Win32 and Linux caused a couple of inconsistencies between files produced at CAA machines and Lindau machines. These problems could be fixed and the code is now more robust.
Analysis of RAPID data of the first years lead to a necessity of revision of several calibration procedures and thus some reprogramming of the PI software. Calibrations affect:
The software update was finished in autumn However, testing takes a lot of time and thus current released data have „old“ calibrations (no bad data but they could be better!).

Final products are defined
Science Data (24 Products) + summary plots are released for 2001/02 using „old“ calibration sets
PI Software with revised calibration as well as the Data Visualization Software is running but needs to be tested properly

Production procedures (software installation and running) have been tested together with CAA team (Monday)
