2 Lesson 6.5 Objectives By the end of this lesson, you should understand that: The shape of a bar chart or histogram can be significantly altered by changing the “bin” size of the bars. Different graphs of the same information may be presented in different forms in order to support an opinion.

3 Lesson 6.5 Objectives By the end of this lesson, you should be able to: Recreate bar graphs or histograms by changing the “bin” size of the bars. Create a tax plan to raise the required amount of revenue.

There are many ways to graph the same data. Sometimes it is useful to redraw a graph in a different way in order to further investigate the story it tells.
