3 First Floor: Finance & Analytics Lab
Technology-Rich 45-seat Teaching Lab Videoconferencing Capabilities Software, hardware, and datasets available including Bloomberg terminals to analyze real-time market data

4 First Floor 50 seat Huber Computer Lab
New southern entrance to Huber Lab; expanded west entryway to the space with prominent views into space Improved accessibility throughout the three floors via open elevator access 3 Gender Inclusive Restrooms which are now more publicly accessible (1 new)

5 Second Floor Newly Centralized Stairwell provides greater cohesion between 1st, 2nd, 3rd floors Expanded all glass entryways extending to each atrium Diverse and flexible furniture options for informal meetings and collaboration

6 Second Floor: Active Learning Classrooms
Integration of five active-learning classrooms Each with a capacity of 25; Groupings of rooms and retractable walls allow for expansion to larger classrooms of 50 seats each Multipurpose: Business Learning Center Tutoring, Courses, reserve-able after hours

7 Third Floor: Silent Study
Top of stairwell enclosed in glass to keep out noise from second floor Diverse mix of seating and micro-environments for individual, quiet study Increased number of small group breakout rooms for student collaboration, presentation practice and remote connections

8 Overall Project Themes
Increased access to power and Wi-Fi for students who bring their own devices throughout the entire Learning Commons Art integrated throughout to beautify spaces and cultivate active learning environments throughout the entire Learning Commons Layouts have been designed to maximize access to sunlight and create a visual connection with the outdoors 80% reduction in on-site print collection allows for an increase in breakout rooms and overall seating capacity. Thoughtful furniture selection and a creation of micro-environments to promote concentration and attention

11 LIBRARY SERVICES Computers, Scanners, and Financial Software:
Computers and scanners will be located in Room 1266 and Bloomberg, Factset, and CapitalIQ will also be available. Course Reserves: Course reserves will be available to students during the remodeling in Room 1320 Grainger Hall (East Atrium) DoIT InfoLabs Equipment: DoIT InfoLabs laptops and cameras will be available for check out in Room 1320 Grainger Hall (East Atrium) Color Printing: There will be a color printer in 1266 and students in the MBA lab will be able to send print jobs to that printer.

12 LIBRARY SERVICES Circulating Collection: Reference Assistance:
The Business Library will still provide reference assistance to all of our clientele during the remodeling. Please come to Room 1320 Grainger Hall. You can also use our service or our chat service. Appointments can be made. Breakout Rooms: There will be six breakout rooms available on the 2nd floor of Grainger Hall (Brooks St.). These rooms can be reserved using the reservation system. Room keys can be checked out in Room 1320. Circulating Collection: The Business Library’s physical collection of books, journals and reference materials will be inaccessible during the remodeling. Please contact us via if there is material that you need and our staff will make every effort to make those materials available to you.

Virtually all of the databases of the Business Library (exceptions: Bloomberg, CapitalIQ, and Factset) are available to all students on campus or off campus. For off campus use you will need your NetID and password to gain access to those resources (we use a proxy server).
