Creation of AFECA CONVERGENCE of two laws:
Law of 23 July 2010 on consular networks authorising certified public accountants to hold director mandates Copé/Zimmermann law on parity of 13 January 2011, envisaging a quota of 40% of women in 2017 in boards of directors of companies of employees and having a turnover at least equal to 50 million Euros CREATION of the Association des Femmes diplômées d’Expertise Comptable Administrateurs in 2010 at the initiative of the Conseil supérieur de l’ordre des experts comptables (CSOEC – French Institute of Certified Public Accountants) 9/04/2016

AFECA objectives PROMOTING THE FEMALE CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANT CAPITAL by creating a collaborative network of female certified public accountants, aimed at integrating gender equality in the organisation of firms as a growth and performance factor PUTTING THIS TALENT POOL AT THE SERVICE OF COMPANY GOVERNANCE AND COMPETITIVENESS, notably by promoting the access of female certified public accountants to a director’s position BOOSTING ITS regional, national and European NETWORKS to give visibility to certified public accountants talents in the economic and financial community. 9/04/2016

AFECA key actions TALENT POOL: ONLINE DIRECTORY(profile of female certified public accountants structured by specific skills and business segments) VISIBILITY: WEBSITE AND SOCIAL NETWORKS (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn) INFORMATION: NEWSLETTERS (with testimonies by personalities from the economic and financial world) and MORNING DISCUSSIONS TRAINING: communication/networks/director functions/strategy and management coaching (hard & soft skills) GENDER PARITY OBSERVATORY : surveys on the evolution of women’s place in boardrooms and their committees 9/04/2016
