Find an article in a newspaper or magazine (Science World magazines are available for you to borrow.) OR
Go to your teacher’s webpage and find the “Science in the News” section. Select a website and browse based upon your interests. HMS Faculty

The NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) predicted that this hurricane season would be more active than usual.
On average, the Atlantic experiences 12 named storms in a year. However, forecasters predicted named storms for the 2017 hurricane season.
Experts believe that the storms are the result of a combination of human and natural causes.
In the 166 years of weather data collection, the US has never experienced more than one Category 4 hurricane in the same year.
If humans are partially responsible for this, what other ways can we help to stop climate change?
