2 Overview To address CRA requirements and meet local preparedness needs, the L.A. County Department of Public Health established systems to support: Inventory Management and Supply Chain SNS Inventory Management System (IMS) Mass Vaccination and Prophylaxis L.A. CRA (formerly LINK-BT) POD Pre-Plan Management and Site Selection Facility Profile Application Integrated into L.A. County PHIN Architecture PHIN Directory, Messaging Service, GIS, etc.

3 System Details SNS Inventory Management System (IMS)
Leveraged a COTS solution from Business Information Systems (BIS) Adapted to needs of SNS and management of local caches and vendor managed inventory Version 2.0 released in June 2008; successfully used in recent functional SNS exercise L.A. CRA (formerly LINK-BT) Highly flexible, web-based solution developed for L.A. County by HLN Consulting, LLC Supports Mass Vaccination and Prophylaxis Campaigns Version 1.5 in Production; successfully used during National Pandemic Influenza Reporting Exercise Version 3.0 set for production release in September 2008; To be used in upcoming Doses Administered Exercise Supports Real-Time Data Entry; Mass Upload of Scanned Form Data

4 System Details Facility Profile Application (FPA)
Web-based solution also developed for L.A. County by HLN Consulting, LLC Supports data capture and distributed management of facility “pre-plans”, critical information or attributes about pre-identified POD sites throughout the jurisdiction Version 1.x in production and currently being used to support mass data collection efforts throughout jurisdiction; 250 locations targeted Future enhancements to support data capture on facilities used for other response needs: Alternate Care Centers, Mobilization Centers, Evacuation Shelters
