2. Global warming is the term we use to describe what is happening to our planet…
The process taking place that is causing the temperature of our planet to rise is called the Greenhouse Effect.

3. I. Greenhouse Effect
- causes the Earth to heat up by trapping insolation radiated from the sun and energy reradiated by the Earth.
Insolation = incoming solar radiation
(UV, infrared and visible light)
