10 THE INDUSTRY TODAY Led by a few large corporations “Sponsor Companies” which rely on Authorized Dealers to generate new customer accounts. Authorized Dealers typically require significant upfront working capital to fund expenses such as equipment, installation and sales commissions. New Customers sign long-term contracts (think cellphone plans) Authorized Dealers benefit by selling these Customer Accounts to Sponsor Companies for Cash. The Sponsor Companies then in turn receive the long-term benefit of the Customer Accounts. (Recurring Monthly Revenue)

Customers can also customize packages to add additional features. The average RMR per Customer Account generated by Intelife Security in 2016 was $ Customers who subscribe to any of the three packages sign up for 60 months with an auto-renewal policy at the end of period.
