PROJECT TIGER IS A TIGER CONSERVATION PROGRAMME LAUNCHED IN 1973 BY THE GOVERNMENT OF INDIA DURING PRIME MINISTER INDIRA GANDHI’S TENURE. THE PROJECT AIMS AT ENSURING A AVAILABLE POPULATION OF BENGAL TIGERS IN THEIR NATURAL HABITATS AND ALSO TO PROTECT THEM FROM EXTINCTION AND PRESERVING AREAS OF BIOLOGICAL IMPORTANCE AS A NATURAL HERITAGE FOREVER REPRESENTED AS CLOSE AS POSSIBLE THE DIVERSITY OF ECOSYSTEMS ACROSS THE TIGER’S DISTRIBUTION IN THE COUNTRY.

THE SOUTH CHINA TIGER IS SUBSPECIES OF CHINA.
THEIR SCIENTIFIC NAME IS PANTHERA TIGRIS AMOVENSIS. SOUTH CHINESE TIGERS ARE ENDANGERED FOR SEVERAL REASONS, INCLUDING POACHNING AND DESTRUCTION OF THEIR NATURAL HABITAT. IN THE PART OF SOUTHERN CHINA THEY ARE FOUND.

The Sumatran tiger is a rare tiger subspecies that inhabits the Indonesian island of Sumatra.
It has been listed as Critically Endangered on the IUCN Red List in 2008 as the population was estimated. IT’S SCIENTIFIC NAME IS PANTHERA TIGRIS SUMATRAE. Size relative to a 6-ft (2-m) man: Siberian (or Amur) tigers are the world's largest cats.

AMONG THE TIGERS THEIR POPULATION IS HIGH. THEIR SCIENTIFIC NAME IS PANTHERA TIGRIS. THEIR LENGTH IS FROM 2.7 TO 3.1 METER FOR MALE AND FOR FEMALE THE LENGTH IS FROM 2.4 TO 2.6 METER. The Siberian tiger, also called Amur tiger.
THESE TIGERS ARE 10 FEET LONG. Their scientific name is panthera tigris altaica. They are found in the ranges of russia, china and indonesia . They live primarily in eastern Russia's birch forests, though some exist in china and North Korea. There are an estimated 400 to 500 Siberian tigers living in the wild, and recent studies suggest that these numbers are stable.
