2 Systems of Linear Equations
1) A system of linear equations is two or more linear equations graphed on the same coordinate plane. 2) The solution to a system of linear equations is the point where the graphs in the system intersect.

3 Solutions of Systems of Linear Equations
1) The solution to a system of linear equations can be one of the following: a) the point on the graph where the two lines cross. b) no solution because the lines in the system are parallel c) infinite solutions because the lines in the system are identical.

4 Solving Systems of Linear Equations
1) One way to solve a system of linear equations is by graphing. This can be done with pencil and paper or by using the graphing calculator. We will learn how to do both.
