1 LAB SAFETY RULES

2 Rule #1 Conduct yourself in a responsible manner at all times in the laboratory. What that means: Failure to follow the lab safety rules will result in a phone call home and an automatic discipline referral.

3 Rule # 2 Follow all written and verbal instructions carefully. If you do not understand the directions, ask me.

4 Rule #4 When entering class, do not touch any equipment, chemicals or other materials in the lab area until you are instructed to do so.

6 Rule #8 Horseplay, practical jokes and pranks are dangerous and prohibited.

7 Rule # 9 Be neat, clean up accidents immediately, and leave your lab area clean.

8 In case of accidents… Notify the teacher
First aid for a burn: Rinse with cool water. Hold the burned area under cool running water for at least five minutes, or until the pain subsides.
