2 Coca-Cola: The Company
The Coca-Cola Company is the world's biggest drinks company, controlling more than half the global market in carbonated soft drinks as well as a substantial chunk of the somewhat larger non-carbonated segment. It owns four of the world's five best-selling soft drinks. The Coca-Cola Company markets, distributes and sells more than 500 non-alcoholic beverage brands ranging from Diet Coke, Fanta and Sprite to a vast range of carbonated and non-carbonated juice-based drinks, bottled waters, iced teas and coffees. The Coca-Cola Company was founded on January 29, The Coca- Cola Co. found initial success and was made famous by the soft drink for which the company is named, Coca-Cola itself.

3 Coca-Cola: The Soft Drink
The drink was invented in May 1886 in Atlanta, Georgia by Dr. John S Pemberton. It was conceived as a nerve tonic and Pemberton's bookkeeper, Frank Robinson, suggested the name, and it was he who penned the flowing script that is still the drink's logo. Coca-Cola is the most popular and biggest-selling soft drink in history, as well as one of the most recognizable brands in the world. Coca-Cola was patented in 1887, registered as a trademark in and by 1895 it was being sold in every state and territory in the United States. In 1906, bottling operations for Coca-Cola began to expand internationally.

4 Competition Pepsi is the Coca-Cola Co.’s main competitor. There are many other companies – i.e. Dr. Pepper Snapple Group Inc. - that would love to replace Coca-Cola, but Pepsi is the only real threat. However many of Coca-Cola’s own beverages compete for popularity with the original Coca-Cola. Coca-Cola Zero, Diet Coke and Coca-Cola Life are rising in reputation due to their less calories and the public’s want to be healthier.

5 Objective My objective is to get Coca-Cola soft drink up to 2.5 billion sales each day by Currently, we get about 1.9 billion sales every day. I know we can do even better. There are now only two countries in the world where Coca-Cola cannot be bought or sold - at least, not officially. They are Cuba and North Korea, which are both under long-term US trade embargoes. President Obama has visited Cuba and spoke to Cuban President Raúl Castro, the trade embargo will end soon. My goal is for Coca-Cola to be there, ready to sell, when the 50-year trade embargo ends. In a list of the average per capita consumption of Coca-Cola in several countries, China (38) and India (12) are the bottom of the list. We must expand our sales in these countries.
