1. Project Coordinator – Breaking the Cycle of Youth Violence
Newcastle United Foundation is recruiting a Project Coordinator to plan, deliver and evaluate our Breaking The Cycle of Youth Violence project. The project will target young people aged 13 to 17 who are involved in or at risk of becoming involved in the criminal justice system.
The post holder will work in partnership with the Youth Offending Team (YOT) in Newcastle to develop effective intervention and prevention strategies as well as ensuring appropriate recruitment and supervision of participants in the YOT setting. They will be responsible for ensuring the project meets all of its KPI’s set by the programme funders whilst ensuring project delivery follows all relevant policies and procedures.
The successful candidate will have proven experience of delivering projects to challenging young people, as well as having the ability to work autonomously and in partnership with external agencies.
