Michael Joseph Jackson was a famous American pop music singer, who was called king of pop music. The seventh member of the Jackson family, started his musical career at the age of 11 years as a member of the band The Jackson 5 and began a solo career in 1971 while he was still a member of the group. Known as the "King of Pop" in the coming years, five of his solo albums have become the best-selling albums worldwide. Biography From an early age Michael was physically and mentally abused by his father. Childhood abuse affected him throughout life. Michael spoke openly about his childhood abuse in 1993 in an interview. He said that during his childhood often cried because of loneliness.
