Distance Learning Application Isolation Remote Access / Secure General availability Options for MFA Hardened appliances

4 Options for Access Mantra: Any (Windows, Linux) application, on any device, anywhere in the world. Web App Chrome, Internet Explorer, Edge, Safari, Firefox Client App Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android, ChromeOS Breathe life into old hardware Run Windows applications on devices that couldn’t or shouldn't run them otherwise VDI gives users the ability to access their business critical applications from any device of their choosing.  This decouples the device requirements from the application requirements.  Can you get everything else done on an iPad but still need still need to a couple Windows Applications?  Log into a VDI! Demo of a very low specced desktop that can run hardware intensive applications with a beautiful user experience. Demo of an iPad running a full Windows Desktop. Demo of a pool of virtual desktops (called instant clones) instantly (under 5 seconds) creating 20 new virtual desktops.

8 Conclusion Service is not yet in catalog.
Fastinfo information on the way. Preliminary proof of concept Working to establish documentation and service for the catalog. Pilot to begin Fallish with designated Kiosk machines will eventually encompass all Hallway computers in Dane Smith Hall (DSH), Student Union, Mitchell Hall and Popejoy Hall by summer 2018. A proposal to refresh 87 PCs in classrooms and a student lab is on the list for 2018. A proposal to collaborate with Anderson may share application workload across datacenters and provide new opportunities for advancing the learning experience. Carlos, Joseph and Tim from AT will be driving this effort to bring Platform’s efforts into the community.

9 Possibilities Automated Sandbox Integration with other services
Micro-segmentation for advanced learning Integration with other services Workspace One SCCM Enhancements Application request portal Multi tiered applications – staged for development, training or Class sections Federation with Lobomail Application entitlements synced from user requested items in the 'Software Center' Eventually a web page for application requests like my.unm that feed both SCCM, Horizon,or RemoteApp
