Comprehension (5) Do you think Midas will be happy?
What does Midas get to wish for anything he wants? He returned a party-goer to Bacchus. What supernatural or magical event is described? Midas’ wish is granted; what he touches will turn to gold.

COMPREHENSION What is the problem with the wish?
Everything turns gold. How does Midas solve his problem? He asks Bacchus to reverse his wish. What is the theme of this story? Be careful about what you wish for; don’t be greedy. Why is the story still meaningful today? Because we frequently wish for things without considering the consequences.
