the second completed skyscraper in the world. measuring 449 m (1,474 ft) from ground to roof. (The tallest complete skyscraper is the Burj Dubai, in Dubai). Designed by C.Y. Lee & Partners and constructed by KTRT Joint Venture, set new records for ascending elevator speed. Its Indoor and Outdoor Observatories draw visitors from all over the world and is a regular feature of international broadcasts

Construction started in 1962 and inaugurated on November 12, 1965 also named as Yat-sen Museum. has four floors. The first, second and third floors are used for exhibitions, while the fourth floor is a lounge where visitors can rest. the largest collection of priceless Chinese artifacts and artwork in the world. including ancient bronze castings, calligraphy, scroll paintings, porcelain, jade, and rare books. The full collection, which consists of some 650,000 pieces, spans many dynasties.
