ATE also supports research in Technician Education.

8 FLATE: Our Work Florida Advanced Technological Education Center of Excellence for Manufacturing (FLATE) A National Science Foundation (NSF) Advanced Technological Education (ATE) Center of Excellence Hosted by Hillsborough Community College, Tampa, Florida and funded since 2004 FLATE supports all 2-year and high school advanced manufacturing programs (22 college and 46 high school) Florida has a statewide system for curriculum Oversee statewide student tours for MFG DAY - FL
