The cost for post injury tests is $ This can be submitted to insurance by parents and is sometimes covered, but payment must be made at the time of the test. Kristi Call your health provider or Ridgeview clinic for post evaluation as soon as possible. If you suspect the concussion is serious please seek medical advice ASAP via ambulance or ER. Post tests are usually completed after the symptoms of headache and nausea subside but evaluation should be completed earlier Please let the school know about concussions, we can accommodate students and help with learning when we know what to advocate for. ImPACT Baseline Testing ImPACT (Immediate Post-concussion Assessment and Cognition Testing) is a computer generated neurological evaluation that can be administered for a baseline and for post injury evaluations. ImPACT can help in managing a head injury by offering objective measurements for memory, reaction time, and other symptoms. This in turn can be used as a tool to help physicians, providers, and athletic trainers make safe return to play decisions for student athletes. When: Early November (dates TBD) Where: Delano Middle School Computer Lab Who: Recommended for all youth hockey players age 10 and up (you cannot be 9 ¾ years old for this test, you must be 10 by the date you test!) Those playing certain high school sports will be tested every other year at the high school **Kids that have a learning disability (or have an anxiety) and struggle to test in a group setting should not come to these sessions and can call Ridgeview Rehab Specialties in Delano at to set up a time to test 1:1 with a staff member at no additional cost. ***Post concussion tests can be scheduled at Ridgeview Rehab Specialties in Delano by calling Student athletes should be symptom free when testing. The cost for post injury tests is $ This can be submitted to insurance by parents and is sometimes covered, but payment must be made at the time of the test.

Ice Analysis Kirk or Dave:
-All teams exceeded ADM/MN Hockey Recommendations -Three Additional Teams – all within ~5% of last year (some over, some under) -Teams were all relative close. Biggest discrepancy was 10% (Peewee A/C vs. B2) – if it comes up. Team Flexibility caused differences -Great Job Scheduling (Dan/Vicky) -Leveraged Mound (42 hours), look to do that again -Opportunities: Sun/Wed, Consistency in Dec/Jan
