Conclusions People of faith find comfort in times of trouble by believing God’s word. Nations also need to find comfort in God’s word. There is a limit to the patience of God with a nation and with us as individuals. Jonah and Nahum teach us that God reaches out to the wicked and gives them opportunity to believe and change. Jesus is God reaching out to sinners.
