1. John Terry Of Winning Team
It was a tense day for the two leading Golfer's Championship contenders as it went down to the wire for the second year running. Keith Welsh came out on top at his home course to pip reigning champion Wayne Herring but only just, as he sneaked into the top ten in ninth place which was enough to take the crown. The day itself was won by Kevin Keeler who beat Greg Phillips on countback with Phillips junior, Ryan, making up the top three, although his playing partners were less than impressed by his gay handicap. We welcome Lee O'Leary to the society and the day also saw the return of Simon Kennedy after his short spell in prison although he maintains his innnocence. Dave Balkin continues his boom and bust form as he presented the trophies for his last place finish although it's an improvement on his last visit to The Oxfordshire when he walked off after ten holes when he fell in the water We wish everybody in the society a merry Christmas and a happy New Year and hope to see as many as possible playing next year.
