Activity 1 Collect the following for your folder: Checklist of topics
Bloom’s Taxonomy Growth Mindset GCSE practical proforma Extension Discuss on your tables which activities might be your strongest for assessment. Divide the activities into possible lesson activities and activities that you do in your own time. Resources: Bloom’s Taxonomy; Growth Mindset; Checklist from AQA GCSE worksheets; Department questionnaire regarding practical activities that may be assessed for GCSE.

Bloom’s Taxonomy Info Bloom’s Taxonomy is a hierarchy of learning with simple learning at the bottom and complex learning at the top. Your learning challenges will usually use this language to give you an idea of how challenging the learning will be.

What is Flipped Learning?
Info Flipped Learning is a model of learning where lesson content and home learning are reversed. You complete preparatory work for homework (simple learning) before completing the complex learning in class.

Activity 2 Discuss on your tables which activities might be your strongest for assessment. Divide the activities into possible lesson activities and activities that you do in your own time. Hand in your activities with your name on them! Students fill in department questionnaires regarding practical activities

What are your expectations? Expectations Challenge and believe in yourself Complete your home study and ask for help early if you cannot meet a deadline Get actively involved in all lessons and activities Develop a growth mindset (if you haven’t already!) Always feed back to the teacher to improve the quality of your learning Develop mutual expectations with the students and add their expectations to the board.

Home Learning List and remember the 4 types of bones
List and remember the 6 functions of the skeleton This should be completed in your books (title: applied anatomy and physiology) by next lesson These slides along with the textbook page required will be on Moodle
