2. Drawing Commands
Arc-Allows you to draw an arc using a variety of commands. COMMAND: Arc Center/<Star Point>: Pick a start point or type C (Center) for more options Center/End/<Second Point> Pick a second point of arc or type C or E (End) for more options End Point: Pick end point of arc OPTIONS: Angle- Enter an arc in terms of degrees or current angular units. Included Angle: Enters an angle value or use cursor to draw an angle Center: Enter the location of an arc’s center point. Enter a coordinate or pick a point.

3. Drawing Commands
Direction: Enters a tangent direction from the start point of an arc. Direction from start point: Either enter a relative coordinate or pick a point. End: Enters the end point of an arc. Enter a coordinate or pick a point Length: Enters the length of an arc’s chord. Length of Chord: Enter a length or use cursor to drag and pick a length Radius: Enters an arc’s radius Enter a radius or pick a point that defines a radius length Start Point: Enter the beginning point of an arc
An Arc can be constructed using the BREAK or TRIM commands, or FILLET for a line

4. Drawing Commands
ELLIPSE commands constructs an ellipse
Command: ELLIPSE Specify axis endpoint of ellipse or [Arc/Center]: Pick a point or type C for center. Specify other endpoint of axis: Pick another point Specify distance to other axis or [Rotation] Center- Specify a center point and one end point of each axis. Rotation-Specify the rotation around the major axis. The rotation angle is between degrees Isocircle- If you enable Ismetric mode, the ELLIPSE prompt will include an isocircle option. Isometric circles will be draw in the current isoplane. You provide the center point and radius or diameter.

5. Editting Commands
Break-enables you to erase or split portions of lines, arcs, circles, and polylines
COMMAND: BREAK
METHOD 1: Select object: Select the line, arc, circle, or polyline Specify second point or (First Point): Break second point of break
METHOD 2: Select object: Select the line, arc, circle or polyline Specify second point or (First Point): Type F Specify first point of break: Pick a point (Use OSNAP) Specify second point: Pick a point

6. Editting Commands
Mirror-Mirror commands makes a mirror image copy of an object or a group of objects. You can keep or delete the original objects.
Command: Mirror Select Object: Pick the object to be mirrored Specify first point of the mirror line Specify second point of the mirror line Erase source object? [Yes/No] <N>: Enter Y to delete the objects and N to keep them
Tip: If you want the line to be at 90-degree angle, turn ORTHO (F8) to make it easier to set the mirror line. If you want to mirror text (reading from right to left), set Command: MIRRTEXT (0): 1

7. Editing Commands
CHPROP- Changes the properties of an object COMMAND: CHPROP Select Objects: Specifies which objects to modify
PROPERTIES TO MODIFY: COLOR-Changes the color of the selected objects LAYER- Changes the layer of selected objects Ltype- Changes the linetype of selected objects Ltscale-Changes the linetype scale factor Lweight-Changes the lineweight of selected objects Thickness-Changes the Z direction of 2D objects Transparency-Changes the transparency level of selected objects. Material-Changes the material of selected objects Annotative-Changes annotative properties Plotsytle-Changes the properties of named plot styles.

8. Editting Commands
OFFSET- Offset draws parallel lines, arcs, circles, and polylines. Repeats automatically until cancelled. Command: Offset Specify offset distance or [Through/Erase/Layer] <Through>: (1.0000) Enter a distance value or accept default Select object to offset or [Exit/Undo] <Exit>: Pick the object Specify point on side to offset or [Exit/Multiple/Undo] <Exit>: Pick a point or the side Select object to offset or [Exit/Undo] <Exit>: Pick the object again Specify point on side to offset or [Exit/Multiple/Undo] <Exit>: Pick a point on the side
