Fluency Side 1&2 -Fluency Passage WEDNESDAY –Sub. Fluency Side 3&4 THURSDAY-Sub. Fluency Quiz -Complete Fluency Passage Questions FRIDAY- Language and Reading Test -Turn in Fluency Passage Read each night!!!! We expect your child to write in complete sentences. CLASSROOM STUDIES READING: Supermarket -Comprehension Skills: Compare and Contrast/ Background Knowledge -Vocabulary Words: laundry, section, shelves, spoiled, store, thousands, traded, variety -Phonics: Long Vowel Digraphs- ee, ea; ai, ay; oa, ow MATH: Chapter 2- Represent and Interpret Data LANGUAGE: Imperative and Exclamatory Sentences WRITING: Sentence Stretchers SCIENCE: Heredity and Diversity SOCIAL STUDIES: Maps Sept. 9th-Mid 9 Weeks Report Sept. 14th-Early Release (11:45) Sept. 19th-23rd-Book Fair Sept. 22nd-Grandparents Lunch (3rd grade) Sept. 23rd-Book Report Due Sept. 30th-World Milk Day ***Book projects were supposed to be approved Friday and if they were not, please do so immediately!!! Book project due date is September 23, 2016.*** We will begin learning our multiplication tables in the next few weeks, starting with 0. Please work with your child in the car, cooking dinner, at bedtime, etc. on these. Remember to read every day!!
