Rescue and Relief Massive rescue and relief operation launched. Ministry of Home Affairs-the nodal Ministry 17 ministry’s supported home ministry in Rescue and Relief Army/ Para military force personnel deployed for search and Rescue; evacuation and temporary shelters. Preliminary Damage/ reconstruction cost at $1.56 billion.
