2. Location Can be absolute: -Coordinates(Lat/Long) Can be relative:
- a location in relation to something else.
ex. Carterville is west of Marion

3. Place Characteristics unique to a specific place.
Can be physical or human characteristics.
Example for St. Louis:
Arch
Busch Stadium
Mississippi River

4. Human-Environment Interaction
People adapting or changing their environment.
Adapting: clothing for weather conditions
Changing: deforestation

5. Movement Continuous movement of people, goods and ideas.
Forms of transportation, trade, religious and governmental ideologies

6. Region Area defined by common characteristics
Language, foods, accents, values, etc.
*Regions don’t have to be geographically touching
