10 MOIMS AREA REPORT: SM&C WG
POINTS TO BE NOTED/ISSUES Joint meeting with SOIS revealed excellent alignment and complementarity The reference architecture The proposed work is considered very valuable, however available resources are extremely limited Reflecting the Goals of CCSDS The MO service capabilities go beyond those envisioned for typical interagency interoperability consistently with the CCSDS objectives: “. . . Recommended Standards and Recommended Practices for data and communications systems to: A. Promote interoperability and cross support among cooperating space agencies to reduce operations costs by sharing facilities B. Reduce the cost to the various agencies of performing common data functions, by eliminating unjustified project-unique design and development.”

11 MOIMS AREA REPORT: TEL STATUS OF BOOKS
GB: Telerobotic Operations (NASA) Final draft available on 15Jan16 BB: Telerobotic Standard Next step, not started yet WORKING GROUP STATUS WG Leadership AD has consulted CCSDS Agencies for deputy chair candidates Attendance to workshop WG re-started with good attendance and new people Book status Slow progress due to unavailability of key staff

12 MOIMS Area: Executive Summary
