The doctor to patient ratio is the highest in Cuba. In fact, there are so many doctors in Cuba, that the country even sends doctors to other countries that face a shortage of doctors.
There is a strict Internet policy in Cuba, with very few people given permission to use the Internet. Offenders are subject to a 5-year term in jail.
Cuba is only 90 miles away from America.

Cuba is a 1st World Demographic nation and a 2nd World Economic nation.
Cuba is a country that is improving.
My study will focus on these findings with explanation as to why Cuba is the way it is today.

Public sector employment was 76% and private sector employment was 23%.

Second largest area planted with tobacco of all countries world wide.

$2.7 billion in revenue annually.

Cuba has three producing offshore oil fields within 5 km of its north coast.

16. Cubans Begin to Win Small Freedoms
In Feb. 2008, Foreign Minister Felipe Pérez Roque signed the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights and the International Covenant on Economic, Social, and Cultural Rights. The government relaxed land restrictions for private farmers in an effort to boost the country’s poor food production and reduce dependence on food imports. “The U.S. Congress voted in March 2009 to repeal the long-standing restrictions on Cuban-Americans visiting Havana and sending money into the country. President Obama has signaled a willingness to establish warmer ties with Cuba, a subtle acknowledgement that isolation has not been effective in forcing the Castro regime from power.”
