Meta Data Over ISSI and CSSI Overview
Data extraction for CAD, mapping, and other purposes. Radio ID Radio Alias Emergency Trigger Activation and De-activation GPS coordinates
11
Radio ID (RID) and Alias
The Radio Console interfaces with the P25 radios system via the CSSI. The Radio Console system manages the radio alias to RID information. The CAD interfaces to the new P25 Radio System via the Customer Gateway network (CGN), thus providing Automatic Identification Decoder (AID) information to the CAD, which identifies which each radio PTT. All radios connected to other agency P25 systems pass their RID and alias information through the ISSI connection. This information is then passed to the CSSI to the Radio Console and CGN to the CAD. CAD and Radio Console associate all GPS information with each PTT to the RID/alias, which is displayed on a tactical mapping system
12
Radio (Emergency Trigger)
The Radio Console interfaces with the voice radio emergency button on the P25 radios system via the CSSI. The Radio Console system alerts dispatchers of the emergency button activation both visually and audibly. The Radio Console system associates the activating unit with the alias, alerts the responsible dispatchers, alerts all associated units on the incident talk group and plots the location of the activating unit on the tactical map display. The Dispatch Console can clear and / or deactivate the Emergency button activation. The CAD integrates with the P25 Radio and Mobile Data Devices (MDD) emergency button function with the incidents assigned radios and alias via the CGN and the ISSI for all unit on other agencies systems. The CAD system can identify/associate the activating unit, alert the responsible dispatchers of all associated Radio units alias on the incident and and plot the location of the activating unit on the tactical map display. Control of the emergency notification (initiated by a Radio and/or MMD depressing the emergency key) will be administratively configurable via the Radio Console via the CSSI.

Meta Data over the ISSI When on another agencies P25 Radio System and connected via the ISSI, all PTT GPS information needs to pass through the ISSI and back to our Dispatch Center via the ISSI for the tactical map to display their Emergency Trigger activation location. When on another agencies P25 Radio System and connected via the ISSI, all PTT alias information needs to pass through the ISSI and back to our Dispatch Center via the ISSI for the tactical map to display their Emergency Trigger activation location.
