7 Common errors – assembly faults
Fixing the roof hooks: No planning of shims Fixing of standard roof hooks with less than 3 screws No observance of edge distances in the rafter hook-arm putting pressure on the underlying tile Excessive rail-cantilever because of non-observance of planning data Removing roof tiles and cutting them: No replacement of old, fragile roof tiles below the roof hooks No or insufficient cutting of tiles, breakage of tiles during cutting Other installation faults: Wrong insertion of Quickstones Loose tightening of bolted connections Stand
