Specific FCC-ee enlargement construction
Two options for construction of enlargement: Excavate regular cross-section tunnel through to caverns and then enlarge with a roadheader. Stop the TBM excavation 1.1 km before cavern and excavate all of the enlargement with the roadheader. Currently appear to be similar in terms of cost and schedule.
