2 Leaf Stem Seed Roots The roots are what suck up water for the plant.
A diagram of a seed, stem, roots and leaf of a bok choy plant. T The seed is what protects the plant when it hasn't grown its stem. The stem is what connects all of the plant parts. Roots Leaf The roots are what suck up water for the plant. The leaf is also what sucks up water for the plant, and provides food for the plant.

3 What is chlorophyll Chlorophyll C Chlorophyll is any of several closely related green pigments found in Cyanobacteria and chloroplasts of algae and plants.

4 WHAT is photosynthesis
C Click here! Photosynthesis is a process used by plants and other organisms to convert light energy, normally from the sun, into chemical energy that can be later released to fuel the energtransformation).

5 Evergreen trees Click here!
These are some pictures of evergreen trees. Click for a video. Evergreens are trees that don't lose their leaves in the winter.

6 Deciduous trees These are some pictures of deciduous trees.
Deciduous trees are trees that lose their leaves in the winter.

7 Winter Other seasons C In other seasons leaves fall off of trees because most of the time people pick at the leaves,or sometimes people tickle the leaves. Leaves must fall.evergreens can hold onto their leaves through winter, because their foliage is coated in wax that helps protect against cold, and their cells bear antifreeze chemicals that ward off winter's worst woes. Not so for broadleaf and deciduous trees. Why do I fall? The function of the stomata is to allow water vapor and gases to pass in and out of the leaf. The stomata are also responsible for the process of transpiration, the rate at which a plant loses water.Air enters the plant through the stomata. The air contains carbon dioxide which is used in the photosynthesis process. Stomata:(Leaves) “Leaves fall off of trees because the tree begins to prepare itself for the winter season.Trees seal the spots where the leaves are attached, cutting off water to the leaves. The leaves then change color and fall from the trees.”

8 They both need food and water.
Animals Plants C Fur Both No fur They both need food and water. Give off oxygen Take in carbon dioxide Plants and animals cells are alike because their both eukaryotic cells. Meat No meat

9 The end! Both Plants! Click Here!
